This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website and other social media outlets, except where stated otherwise.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to and collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your order or provide our services, including the processing of AI chat conversations as described in the AI Chat Assistant section below.

AI Chat Assistant

Our website includes an AI-powered chat assistant ("MasterGrief™ AI") that allows you to have a conversation about grief and MasterGrief™ programs and services. This section explains how information shared through the chat assistant is handled.

What the chat assistant collects. The chat assistant processes the messages you type during your conversation. You are not required to provide your name, email address, or any other identifying information to use the chat. However, you may choose to share personal information in the course of your conversation. Please do not share sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers, government identification numbers, passwords, or similar information through the chat.

How conversations are processed. Conversations are transmitted to and processed by Anthropic, PBC, a third-party artificial intelligence provider, in order to generate responses. By using the chat assistant, you acknowledge that your conversation content is processed by Anthropic and subject to Anthropic's privacy policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy. MasterGrief™ does not control Anthropic's data practices.

We do not store your conversations. MasterGrief™ does not retain the content of your chat conversations after your session ends. Conversations are not saved to your account, linked to your contact information, or used for marketing purposes unless you separately provide your information through another channel on our Site.

Children and the chat assistant. Children under 13 should not use the AI chat assistant without a parent or legal guardian present. Users under 18 may use the assistant with appropriate parent or guardian awareness and involvement. The chat assistant is not designed to collect information from children, and parents or guardians are encouraged to monitor their child's use of this feature.

Your choices. Use of the AI chat assistant is entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to have your conversation processed by a third-party AI provider, do not use the chat feature. You may contact us at [email protected] with any questions about how your information is handled.

Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Site, including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and other tracking tools we may use from time to time, to understand how visitors use our Site and to support our marketing efforts. We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate our business and deliver our services. Our merchandise shop links to a third-party platform where orders are placed and fulfilled directly. Purchases made through that platform are subject to that platform's own privacy policy and terms.

MasterGrief™ provides grief education, support, and resources that may be used by adults, families, teens, and children with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Children under 13 should not submit forms, register for services, join communities, make purchases, sign up for events, or provide personal information through our website, social media channels, programs, groups, events, or services without the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

If a child under 13 participates in any MasterGrief™ program, group, event, resource, or service, a parent or legal guardian should be involved and should provide any required consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as reasonably possible.
