You don’t have to grieve alone.
There’s something quietly sacred about being in the presence of others who just get it. Not because they have all the answers, but because they’ve been through their own losses and know what it feels like to have a heart that’s trying to keep beating after the unthinkable.
Grief can make the world feel distant — like you’re on the outside of life looking in. That’s why we created the Master Hearts Support Group: to offer a space where grief is not rushed, fixed, or minimized… but gently witnessed and supported. A space where your story matters. Where you can remember, rebuild, and slowly rediscover who you are becoming in the wake of all that’s changed.
This community isn’t therapy. It’s something different — a heart-led circle of connection, support, and guidance designed for those navigating loss of any kind. Whether your grief is new or old, loud or quiet, sharp or numb — you are welcome here.
We know that even showing up can be a brave act, so we offer an open-access tier — a gentle way to begin, without pressure or expectation.
🌟 The Master Heart Support Group
Grief changes everything — the way you see the world, the way you move through each day, and the way you connect to others. We know that even showing up can be a brave act, so we offer two ways to join Master Hearts: a gentle, open-access tier for those beginning to reach for support. This option is perfect if you’re curious, tentative, or just need to feel less alone.
Then we offer a more intimate membership, MasterGrief Elite. MasterGrief Elite is for those ready for guided circles and personalized care.

Why This Program Exists
Because grief doesn’t end when the casseroles stop coming.
Because you deserve support that honors the depth of your loss.
Because there’s nothing wrong with you — you’re just in grief.
And because connection changes everything.
Let’s Walk This Together
Whether you’re barely getting out of bed or trying to rebuild your life...
Whether your loss was recent or years ago...
Whether you need to speak, or need to stay silent...
There is a place for you here.
Your grief is welcome.
Your heart is safe.
And when you're ready, we’d be honored to hold space for you. You don’t have to grieve alone.
There’s something quietly sacred about being in the presence of others who just get it. Not because they have all the answers, but because they’ve been through their own losses and know what it feels like to have a heart that’s trying to keep beating after the unthinkable.
We believe connection is not just helpful in grief — it’s essential.
Grief thrives in silence, but it softens when we are seen, heard, and met with compassion. In the presence of others who speak this invisible language of loss, our healing begins to take root.
You don’t have to have the right words.
You don’t have to be “over it.”
You don’t have to do anything but show up as you are.
Your grief is welcome here.
Your heart is safe here.
And when you're ready, we’d be honored to hold space for you.

Bobbie Baker:
My name is Bobbie, and I am a newly certified grief educator. While this is the beginning of my professional journey, moving through grief is not new to me. After losing my father, daughter, and a close friend to cancer, I’ve been on my own path of healing and purpose. Those experiences have given me a deep understanding of how heavy loss can feel and how important it is to have support.
I’m also working toward a degree in psychology and continue to grow through both study and life experience. I want to support others in learning to grieve with more love than pain.
Caroline Shelby:
Caroline Shelby, based in NJ, I earned my grief coach certification from Master Grief Academy in June of 2025. My path to this work has been shaped not only by my professional background in training, facilitation, and client support, but also by my own journey as a neurodivergent individual navigating loss.
Living with a different way of processing the world has taught me the value of patience, creativity, and deep listening. I understand what it feels like to experience life outside of the “expected” path, and that perspective allows me to meet people exactly where they are — with compassion, acceptance, and without judgment.
As a support group leader, I believe that grief is never a one-size-fits-all experience. Each person carries their story in a unique way, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where those stories can be honored. My role is not to “fix” grief but to walk alongside others, offering tools, encouragement, and connection so that no one has to feel alone in their healing.
Katrina Journeaux:
I’m Katrina, and my path to this work is deeply personal. After losing my 19-year-old daughter, Marya, in October 2024, I found myself in the darkest place of my life. Through grief coaching, I discovered community, support, and hope—which inspired me to help others find the same. I’ve been married for 24 years and have a blended family of four children, four granddaughters, and four cats. Tennessee has been home for 40 years, and family has always been my greatest joy. Today, I walk with others through what I call “intermission”—the tender space between the first and second act of life—helping them find gentleness, growth, and even love in the midst of loss.
Lizzy Gough:
As a professional office manager and Human Resources director, I have spent the past twenty-five years helping companies and employees grow. I have a passion for helping others, the creative arts, and raising my three living children.
In my life I have mourned the loss of many friends and family members. Though I did not truly understand grief until I experienced the devastating loss of my husband of 25 years to suicide. This single moment brought my life to a standstill. Flooded me with the emotions that I had buried deep inside and forced me to face not only his death but the loss of our unborn child many years before.
In my path to refocusing and building a new life, I discovered just how little resources were out there for others in my situation. The Master Grief Academy not only gave me the tools to work through my grief and begin to grieve with more love than pain, I found a new avenue to help others as well.
My mission is to bring the hope to those who have lost someone tragically that the loss is not the end of their story, and that by working to refocus and rebuild their next chapter in life can be fulfilling and honor those whom they have lost along the way.
Marissa Trent:
Hi, I’m Marissa and I’m happy you’re here.
As an accredited certified grief coach recognized in 82 countries, I help others walk through the dark, confusing, and deeply human terrain of grief — not to fix it, but to honor it. Because while grief is painful, it’s also transformational. There is life on the other side of loss — not a life without sadness, but a life that can still hold joy, meaning, and connection.
I work specifically with young adults who have a parent diagnosed with a terminal illness or are navigating life after the loss of a parent.
Losing a parent changes everything — your world, your identity, your sense of safety. It’s heartbreaking, disorienting, and often incredibly lonely, especially when it happens in your 20s or 30s, a time when you’re supposed to be figuring out your career, relationships, and place in the world. You don’t have to go through it alone.
In our work together, you’ll find a space that’s calm, compassionate, and real. No rushed timelines. No toxic positivity. Just room for your truth however messy, confusing, or overwhelming it feels right now. I’m here to remind you: your grief is not something to "get over" but you can learn to live with it and even grow from it. You can create space for both the pain and the possibility.
I believe that grief, as painful as it is, can be transformational. It doesn’t erase the sadness but it can open the door to a life that still holds joy, connection, and meaning. Your pain is real and so is your capacity to heal.
If you’re here, you’ve already taken a powerful first step. I’d be honored to walk beside you not as someone who’s “moved on,” but as someone who’s learned to live with grief, and to build a meaningful life alongside it.
There’s no right way to grieve but there is a way forward. And I’m here when you’re ready.
Peggy Bell:
Peggy Bell is a grief educator, life coach, author, and speaker devoted to helping widows navigate through their grief journey by offering understanding, hope and gentle guidance. Having experienced widowhood herself, Peggy believes that while grief reshapes life in significant ways, it does not mean the end of one’s purpose or joy.
Her mission is to reassure women that healing does not mean forgetting, but rather learning to carry the love forward while embracing the gift of life that remains. She wants them to know that the overwhelm they may feel now will subside, allowing them to once again find color in a world that seems bleak and gray.
“This is the end of one chapter, but as the page turns, hope remains.”
